Who we are

Tourio (“we”, “us”) operates this website, tourio.co.uk, offering small-group adventure tours. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, email us at info@tourio.co.uk.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through our form, we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, the tour you’re interested in, your group size, and anything you write in your message. We also collect any information you share with us afterwards by email or message while we help plan your trip. We do not ask for, or store, any payment details on this website.

How we use it

We use your information for one simple purpose: to respond to your enquiry personally, discuss and tailor your trip, and stay in touch about it. We will not add you to a marketing list or send you promotional emails unless you specifically ask us to. The lawful basis for this is your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data. Your enquiry is delivered to our inbox through FormSubmit, a third-party form service, purely so the message reaches us. This website also loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap/CARTO and fonts from Google, which may receive standard technical data (such as your IP address) needed to serve those elements. That’s it — no advertising networks, no data brokers.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry only as long as we need it to help you — while we’re in conversation and, if you travel with us, for the duration of your trip and a reasonable period afterwards. After that we delete it. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive a copy of it. To exercise any of these, just email info@tourio.co.uk and we’ll sort it. If you’re ever unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you have the right to complain to the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Third-party elements we embed (such as maps and fonts) may set their own technical cookies as part of delivering their service.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; any changes will appear on this page with a revised date above.
