Shah has spent 20 years leading small-group adventures across some of the world's most extraordinary places — from the jungles of Borneo to the high passes of the Caucasus, from the ancient silk roads of Uzbekistan to the wildlife plains of East Africa.

As co-founder of Adventure Iran and founder of New Moon Resort in Thailand, he has built a career around designing and delivering travel experiences that go far beyond the ordinary. Over two decades, he has developed the expertise, the networks and the operational knowledge to put together tours that most operators simply couldn't — and built a team around him that shares the same standards.

At Tourio, Shah oversees every departure — from itinerary design to guide selection and on-the-ground logistics — ensuring that the quality and character of each trip reflects the same values he has built his career on.

When he's not on the road, Shah is based in the UK, planning the next route and thinking about which corner of the world deserves to be discovered next.
