Why travel with Tourio

🧭

20 years of experience

Our team has led small-group adventures across Asia, East Africa, the Caucasus and South America since 2006. We know the routes we run inside out — and we run them personally.

👥

Small groups only

Never more than 8 people on this tour. Small groups move differently — you get into places larger groups can't, spend more time in the moment and actually get to know the people you're travelling with.

✈️

Int'l flights not included

You book your own flights, so you have full flexibility over your dates, airline and route. We're always happy to advise on the best connections — just ask when you enquire.

💬

Real conversations

No booking engine. Enquire and our team will be in touch within 24 hours to discuss everything personally — and to tailor the trip around your schedule and what matters most to you.

Before you book — good to know

  1. Kenya e-visa is required for UK, EU and US passport holders. Apply online at evisa.go.ke — cost is US$50. We'll send guidance when you book.
  2. The Great Migration through the Masai Mara runs roughly July to October — the wildebeest river crossings are among the most dramatic wildlife events on earth. If this is your target, let us know and we'll schedule your trip accordingly.
  3. Travel insurance must cover medical evacuation. Medical facilities in the Mara and Amboseli are limited — evacuation to Nairobi is sometimes necessary.
  4. All game drives are in 4WD vehicles shared only with your group. You will never be mixed with strangers in our vehicles.
  5. Malaria prophylaxis is recommended for all areas visited on this tour. Consult your GP or travel clinic at least 4 weeks before departure.
