Trip code: TWR-KTZ
The definitive East Africa safari — Kenya's Masai Mara and Amboseli followed by Tanzania's Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Together, these four parks represent the world's most extraordinary concentration of African wildlife. Eleven days, maximum 8 people per vehicle, with experienced guides in both countries.
Why you'll love this trip
The Serengeti — vast, open and seemingly without end, home to the largest concentration of large mammals anywhere on earth, and the most spectacular sight in Africa.
Ngorongoro Crater — a collapsed volcanic caldera 20km across and 600m deep, its floor teeming with lions, black rhinos, hippos, flamingos and every other East African species.
The Masai Mara during migration season — hundreds of thousands of wildebeest crossing the Mara River, pursued by crocodiles, with lions waiting on the far bank.
Amboseli elephants with Kilimanjaro: the most iconic image in East African wildlife photography, and the reality exceeds the photographs.
Maximum 8 people — 4 or fewer in most park sessions, given vehicle-sharing between parks. Every seat has a window, every game drive feels private.

Why travel with Tourio
🧭
20 years of experience
Our team has led small-group adventures across Asia, East Africa, the Caucasus and South America since 2006. We know the routes we run inside out — and we run them personally.
👥
Small groups only
Never more than 8 people on this tour. Small groups move differently — you get into places larger groups can't, spend more time in the moment and actually get to know the people you're travelling with.
✈️
Int'l flights not included
You book your own flights, so you have full flexibility over your dates, airline and route. We're always happy to advise on the best connections — just ask when you enquire.
💬
Real conversations
No booking engine. Enquire and our team will be in touch within 24 hours to discuss everything personally — and to tailor the trip around your schedule and what matters most to you.
Before you book — good to know
This tour crosses an international border (Kenya→Tanzania). You need a Kenya visa and a Tanzania visa — both available online as e-visas.
This tour ends at Kilimanjaro International Airport (IATA: JRO) — book your return flight from there.
The Great Migration is in the Masai Mara roughly July to October. The Serengeti calving season is January to March — both are extraordinary and very different experiences.
Malaria prophylaxis is recommended for all areas. Consult your GP or travel clinic at least 4 weeks before departure.
Travel insurance must include medical evacuation — essential for safari travel in remote areas.
